To continue their appreciation of wine, many of WineMatters students go on to become members of The Oxford Wine Club which meets approximately once a month at Wolfson College, Oxford. We have 135 knowledgeable members and enjoy some high quality tastings by Masters of Wine and Merchants or producers. A novel concept in wine tasting is available to all at the Summertown Wine CafÈ. We now have the benefit of a cellar door tasting experience locally and can discover boutique wines that will never be found in supermarkets. Rob Malcolm, Managing Director, promises to scour the World for the best boutique wines made by hopelessly dedicated winemakers and provide them for us to taste at revolutionary prices. There will be monthly selections and the cafÈ will also be open in the mornings with tea/coffee and pastries.

Richard Loadman has set up a business based in Oxford retailing bin ends of fine wines at prices significantly below other Merchants prices. He is also offering even lower prices on pre-arrival stock. You can buy any quantity from a single bottle upwards and as the stock will be constantly changing he will e-mail details of new bargains to anyone who wishes to sign up for a monthly mailing.
